mmm they get a bit stiff . demist is at the extreme end of the control . I took the radio out to have a look at mine . Just be careful not to bend the cable . it goesto the top ofthe heater asy there on the right side . the cable has a nasty habit of bending in the heater control . and then it doesn't work .. (that is bad ) I just replaced the whole assembly .
