Wow that's awesome, first thought it was some random dudes vid at first but nup. . . Works pretty well nothing like the soothing sound off a wacker in the background, ah the serenity. . .

Much better than the sound of squealing bitten kiddies I guess good mate. Hopefully it works and we can all live together in harmony. Just not next to the playground though, lol :-)

Vibrations haven’t seemed to have annoyed my ‘bestest’ indigenous mates too much! Maybe shook some Ants outa the ground, bit shy they are for photos :-) “Yes darling, 99 loads of washing done today” :-)

Careful mate, you'll have conspiracy theorists coming over soon.

I'm still working on getting a Patrol but I see no shortage of wildlife pretty close to home (I am in Heidelberg in NE Melbourne). I'm not far from the Main Yarra Trail and I regularly go mountain bike riding out past Templestowe and within 5 km of my house I have seen kangaroos, wallabies, possums, wombats (I saw 8 of these two nights ago in a 1 hour night ride!!), echidnas, blue tongue lizards, tiger snakes, a koala, and believe it or not a platypus!!! The koala and platypus were both spotted from the Main Yarra Trail bridge over the Yarra near Templestowe on the same day and I nearly fell off my bike when I saw the platypus as the Yarra River was the last place I was expecting to see one (actually the only one I have ever seen in the wild). Have also seen heaps of foxes and thousands of rabbits but don't really count them in the scheme of things. We also regularly have a Tawny Frogmouth sitting on either our Hills Hoist or our verandah at night time and this time of year our flowering gum is in flower and we get heaps of Rainbow Lorikeets in it.

About 2 years ago I was mountain bike riding with some mates out near Smiths Gully (about half an hour North of here) and we saw a pair of wedge tail eagles (mum and dad) with a younger eagle about 70 m or so from the road we were on. We stopped to look and the dad was dragging a rabbit carcass up to the young one and we then watched mum and dad rip it apart so the young one could eat.....that was pretty amazing!!!

I think I'm pretty lucky to have all this so close to home given that I only live about 15 km or so from the CBD

Last night we watched up to a dozen or so Platypus playing & swimming around in the creek which runs through the middle of Geeveston, Tas. Went out this morning with my camera to photograph some & didn't see a single one. Got some shots of this unexpected Cormorant visitor though.

May have to go Platypus hunting again this evening.

42 degrees in the hills today. ‘Little Wild Ringtail Aussie Battler’ was waiting/dangling on the front gate for the girls to arrive home. https://youtu.be/8gCeJiAj77I In desperation little mate waddled forth to the parked Patrol . It is beautiful how animals and humans can find trust when both needed :-)
