I now run 2 of these in the Patrol
Basically as an experiment
They put out over 900 cca, AGM Spiral cell.
Each cell has one continuous plate rolled up with the acid soaked Matt like a sponge roll.
They are smaller in capacity at 65 ah but recovery really fast with low internal resistance.
Being both of the same size and chemistry means they charge more equally than a starting battery besides a deep cycle. It’s all about resistance.
So far I’m happy with them.
I ran my mega thirsty caravan fridge off it for 4 hours whilst visiting relos during a trip recently and it started fine and the fridge in the car will go for 2 days when stopped without any assistance, but most times I connect the car to the van when camping so the onboard solar panel keeps the car fridge running.
