Last week was the annual "HotRod Drag Week" event. A 5 day drag racing event where entrants must race at multiple drag strips and drive a couple of hundred miles between strips (over 1000 miles for the week), all under their own power, you're not allowed to be towed or have a support vehicle. All your passes for the week are averaged and the a quickest ET wins the event
This years winner had an average ET of 6.81 seconds @ 207 mph in a Corvette with an 872 ci big block nitrous motor.
