    yet another newbie

hello all, I am newbie to this site. drive a 94 Patrol...how obvious is my user name..doh! anyway, looking to learn more about patrols as I am slowly working through mine and looking for fixes/enhancements. ultimate goal will be to get the patrol ready to do a lap around oz. I was looking to for a solution to the dodgy bonnet pole (?) thinghy. it's a heavy and thought there must be a way to adapt it to something like the gu's. found a thread and have posted a question there looking for assistance. cheers

Welcome mate , the bonnet prop if used right I think are better than struts , had enough of getting a bonnet smack to the back of the head from dodgy struts .

oh...ok...the bonnet being a heavy one using the prop allows the bonnet to sag/twist a bit on the right hand side....besides i am probably a bit lazy, just wanting the bonnet to go up with minimal effort etc. thanks
