At Roxby Downs tonight.
Was an easier day today, went out to Nepabunna, then up the Birdsville to Marree, then took the Oodnadatta and Borefield tracks to Roxby.
There were a few really rough sections that created a few new rattles in the work Mitsibushi Challenger.
Wish I could do this all the time.
You lucky duck, cracker job bro :-)
Wishing I was there Outback with ya mate to smell the Roses together:-(

Yeah I was getting call drop out and call quality issues that further compounded my frustration. I'd been told to ignore that as they will just swapnot for another S8 rather than iphone and Perdue the swap as I was in a strong position but then they just stopped communicating with me so I rang again yesterday and finally got some action.
I fair dinkum hate this thing mate. Such a pretty phone, going to.miss that but my god what a piece of junk every other part of it is. Dumb pgone . If I wanted a dumb phone I'd grab my old Nokia. The iphone will be like stepping back in time for the display quality but in Every othw r way it's a generation or 2 ahead of this thing.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Managed to repair a TV today instead of having to by a new one. It had been playing up for a few weeks then refused to turn on. Googled the model number & found a common problem with the power board blowing capacitors. Took the back off the TV & sure enough found 5 bulging capacitors.
Jumped on the Jaycar website & found the ones I needed on Monday morning & ordered them. Arrived this morning & took an hour to replace the faulty ones. Plugged the TV in & bingo, it works again. Pretty rapped as it was my first go at repairing electronics.
Cost $12.75 for the parts compaired to $300 plus for a new TV.
Gotta be happy about that!
