I had a thought of an old plastic siphon hose that was given to me years ago, you may know the cheap one with the red plastic primer squeezer that you squashed with your hand to help prime to get the flow happening. I saw a couple of primer bulbs in BCF, one was 8mm I think it was and the other was a 10mm job. Thought it might go well when I had to siphon some diesel from a jerry / drum, well it works okay, if you don`t mind a trickle on the outlet side. It does speed up if you squeeze it several times and I`ll have to work a way of removing the little one way valve so the flow can be increased. Cost me $15 and I all ready had enough clear pipe, plus clamps that I scored from other jobs. Any one else with better ideas?
