That was one of the main reason I got steelies after reading a few unfortunate stories ................on the road

Krisso mate, have also heard of the alloy nightmares so have always ripped em off cars when bought and back to faithful steelies too!
Steelies we've found also when fitted in cold temps do seem to loosen very slightly on the highway back home although that could be the studs and nuts expansion possibly? Either way, the team down here can vouch that our morning departure daily ritual is to check our nuts together:-(
