Ricciardo winning the Azerbaijan Grand Prix made me happy.
Made it home from corner country trip , reckon I was dropping about five litres a hundred on the ground of diesel , whenever we pulled up it would be dripping from the trailer chains .
As a positive I don't think rust should be a problem underneath .
Have bought a complete seal kit for the injector pump but may only do the top three for now , lesson learnt the hard way , when someone is selling diesel for .30 cents less than anyone else keep going .

Yeah I did blame that cheap fuel from an outlet in Wentworth but if seals are original it's more than likely just the seals perishing because of the new low sulphur fuels we have nowadays, at least that's what the mechanics are saying .
And looking into it the seals leaking problem is not uncommon at all for earlier model 4bys .
I'm going to have a crack at replacing the top seals myself there is a lot of info on you tube etc on how to do it , all mechanics I've spoke to insist the pump needs to come out and be rebuilt but apparently this is not always the case .
Stoked for you Mat, they are a truly awesome car!
