Well in a world of wiring at the mo. Getting there but just wondering what the best way too get the main loom out is. Assuming feed everything from the engine bay through to the cab as the fuse box looks tricky to pluck apart and won't fit through the big gromet. Looks like you need to unplug the fusable links near the battery & relays under that plate thingy. Keep plugging away tommoz but if anyone has done it before @matfew or any advice would be greatly appreciated . .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Getting there, think I've got this loom under control now. Nearly got the dash out, think I'll take out the brake master which will make it easier to get to the main loom gromet then start feeding it all through. . . Have to say this is so much fun, lovn' this . . Think I'm making up for missed mechano time as a youngster . . .

For someone who keeps their car so clean there's a bit of filth back there.

    Mine would look like horrendous!

Yeah its getting a bit yuck now. Found some old plums I grabbed from Dargo that had shriveled up and gone moldy. Also half a pack of Daz's mints under the seat and sum redskins . . . There's a fair bit of mud & mulch under the carpet too . . .
