This is as far as I am at the moment. Next will be finalising the charge air track. This is only the turbo to intercooler pipe. We didnt have enough clamps to finish at the time of these photos. We will also be doing the oil and coolant lines for the turbo. I will be using a mix of tube and hose to try and keep things nice and neat.
We should be able to run it at this point to check for any leaks etc etc. Then it will be onto plumbing up the water part of the intercooler.

I'm guessing the benefit of the 4" from the turbo to intercooler will only be beneficial because of the large inlet on this intercooler. Say for example the CC top mounts don't have a large inlet on them so would you still get the same benefit?

Only using 4" from airbox to turbo. Turbo to intercooler is 3" pipe. Sorry I should have been more specific.
Yes there isnt much point in having piping bigger on the inlet side of the cooler. It can be a small benefit on the outlet of the cooler though as it increases volume. But it is a little pointless if it has to neck down again to go into the manifold.

Awsome Matty, this will be on the cards this year for the poor old GQ, she needs a bit of love. Many thanks to you northerners & ABs R&D, should be a lot easier- will have plenty of questions when it comes to it that's for sure.
Just out of interest what sort of cost is involved in ceramic coating - manifold for example?
