IMO you do not #### with ANZAC day.

My son in law is a refugee, and came to this country for a better life.

He didn't pay people smugglers the exorbitant price to come to Australia on a leaky boat, and he had all his identification with him when he arrived.

I'm not going to say how he got here, because it will give others, ideas.

He did his time in detention and the whole process only took about 3 months - not years - because he had his identification with him.

He is now an Australian Citizen and calls Australia home.

At the dawn service for ANZAC day this year, I will proudly be wearing the medals of my relatives from the 1st and 2nd World Wars,
and my own Service Medals.

Firstly I applause your Son-In-Law for coming here and doing the right thing. May he live a long, prosperous, healthy, peaceful, happy life in Oz.

Secondly I thank you for your service in defence force for this country.

Thirdly LEST WE FORGET all your relatives that served in wars and you have the right to feel proud to wear their medals tommorow.
