    Cool Auto /lock hub conversion

Today i converted my hubs to manual/lock hubs. As stated on the forum they were easy to do and it all went well. But instead of using the wheel brace to move from free to lock i found an old Sidchrome ring spanner to do the job . A 13/16 A.F. I cut one end off and now it's about 6'' long and fits nicely in the door pocket for when i need it. I've had that spanner for a long time and knew it would come in handy for something one of these days. I like to recycle when i can.

That works. I did something similar with an old socket and lawnmower spark plug tool. It lives in the glovebox.
