Soooo @Chubba...... digging up an old thread ................ still happy with your front locker? With your experience of use what would you advise someone (me) considering getting a front e-locker (with std LSD in rear & std gear ratios) for a remote area touring vehicle. I see a locker, not so much as something to allow me to go more 'extreme', but rather as a means of reducing the risk of momentum related damage a long way from anywhere. Insurance if you like....... the sort of thing I'll be happy not to use, but find it reassuring to know it's there when I need it.

Cuppa. Sorry for the late response mate but I would say to anyone considering a front elocker in a patrol to go for it. If you can afford the coin do it. Getting on for the reasons you stated the front locker will deliver in spades.
Just do it!!
