    Which winch bar?

If you had a choice which winch bar would you fit to a GU or a GQ for that matter.

Years ago TJM had a special cut out for a HiLift which I always thought was a safe option but they don't now???

ARB have a square cut out either side of the number plate which looks a reasonable option.

Anyway curious to what you think.

The picture of the bar has info "area's" that the curser highlights, it's the HiLift points that is an interesting inclusion.

Whilst I am happy with the standard Nissan winch bar, if the car did not have a b/bar with it I would probably go with ARB just for the hi-lift jack points.

I am looking at a one at the moment for a GQ. I don't want the hoops so not much options but have found these. Comes with hoop or just the bar. It has the hi-lift points also. Will also fit high or low mount winch.

Covo that is an interesting bar, the HiLift points on the GU bar are a lot further apart making jacking safer.
If you have used a HiLift on a standard bar the whole front lifts because the jack is not far enough from centre.
    Nice find,

Got the GQ now and looking for stuff not as easy as GU. Only want the bar for bolting accessories to so the hoop-less looks the go. Strangely it is the heaviest of the 3 options they sell?

    I run a TJM T13 outback bar with 2 x hi-lift jacking points.
More than happy with fit and finish,
Originally when using a hi-lift you would jack the 4x4 above
the problem pack it out then just push the 4x4 off the jack.
Not sure how that would work with those "T" cut outs, suppose you'd
have the jack the 4x4 down again, very dangerous if you dont know how.
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Only downside of the cut outs. I have always lowered the jack but understand what you are saying.

Saw your PM, tnanks will keep that in mind.
