Figured Id buy a garage creeper to help me do jobs under the Mighty Patrol.
I see there are 2 styles one is moulded and comes in different sizes,
the other is a combo creeper come stool, any thoughts on what you use
would be great

04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
I have just the trolly style with the padded head rest works good for me (apart from the bogan mullet gettin caught under the wheels LOL)
I have a stool as well but thats firmly set up at the bar!!!![]()
Why do caveman drag there woman by there hair ?
Cause if you drag them by there feet they fill up with dirt
And I just threw one out.... I found it easier, for me atleast, to use a large piece of cardboard and slide under.
Bone creepers are the best but maybe a little too big for under a Patrol. But very comfy.

I find my clothes get caught in the exposed wheel types, cardboard works well too
The mobile mechanic we use has a sheet of core-flute that he uses, you could keep a piece in the back for roadside repairs.
I have the plain old flat one & the kneeling one, I have seen office chairs with the pedestal removed & castors fitted, also the plastic chairs with the metal frame removed on a piece of ply with castors.

I have a neck problem, so find some sort of neck support essential. Admittedly the creeper doesn’t get used that often, but when I do need to be under the car or Tvan for more that a minute or so the creeper with the adjustable headrest makes a huge difference for me. The moulded types give a bit more clearance, but with the height of the Patrol I haven’t had a problem.

I have one of the combo style that converts to a stool and I find I use it as a stool as often as I use it as a creeper, very handy.
I have a flat moulded one, that I am a bit too heavy for, but it has made life so much easier when working under the Patrol. If I had a choice again, I would get one with a tube frame.

My advice is: not to follow my advice.
I had a moulded plastic one but after a short while it cracked and broke. I now have a tubular steel one and it is fine. Good in cold weather (rather than lying on cold concrete) and I can get in and out from under the car quicker to reach the tool box - than when I used a sheet of cardboard.
I know that feeling mate. I spent about an hour under a falcon once trying to untangle my hair from around the wheel and axle, couldn't roll in any direction and couldn't get off the bloody thing cause the car was to low. If i could've reached something sharp the hair would've been gone that day. Would have been pretty funny to watch.
