Now when you and your bro are driving to Licola, you need to race through the hills and see who goes better

We've had a few little races so far and it's extremely close. I reckon the trusty old diesel will get him though!

Let's hope haha. He is going to do a MAFless tune & mild cam at some stage, I don't like my chances when that happens! It's an absolute best of a rig though, he's done very well for himself.

On the topic of my bus, ever since I've had the pump & injectors fitted it has started really rough and blown puffs of white smoke when cold, especially on super cold days. I spoke to the blokes at Performance 4x4 and they have told me my timing needs to be advanced. I'm going to have a hunt around and see if I can find another place to tune it properly.

Interesting. Was the timing set at what they told you to set it at?
Usually this happens when the pump hasnt quite been setup right. Its not a timing thing and is something that has to be set on a bench.

How much weight did they get out of the flywheel?

The mechanics that fitted it never got in contact with P4x4 apparently so they just set it to what they thought would work.

    I was told 1.5-2kg.

Yeah funny about that. Mine does this too. But it has to be really cold for it to do this. It will only sputter for about 5 seconds, no longer, bitta smoke, then its good.

Just picked it up. Damn that clutch feels completely different from my last one. Much heavier and grabier on takeoff.
