I was in Bordertown on Monday and got soaked to the bone cutting firewood. Those clay flats on the southern end of the track near Frances will be getting pretty slippery and fun.

Anyone know of, been to or anything about a big meet in Whyalla on the Oct long weekend? I think it's called the 4wd invasion of Whyalla. An annual event.

How can an entire state be blacked out? I understand that extreme weather events happen and so on but the entire state.

Major backbone / transmission lines knocked out probably. Considering the winds / hail... It can happen.
We've just been put on state of "alert" here in Vic. (I work on powerlines) .
