Quick wet weather drive review

Hit the black top this morning and gave the tyres a good workout.
They gripped very well in and out of corners and have good tracking in the wet.
Stopping was good under normal pedal, hard and very quick test stops. The ABS assists as usual.
Hit some gutter puddles and they spread the water well and didn't hydroplane like a normal road or AT tyre, to be expected I think due to the shape if the tread.

Very nice look like they would be quiet, liking those side bitters to.
They'll protect the side walls, yep very nice. Didnt think you'd be ripping
mudflaps off with 285s ?
What road pressures are you running

FYI ...285/75/16 BFG Muds ripped my front mudflaps off with a 2" lift. Intend to modify them and put them back on.

Easter w/e trip.
Road trip the tyres are good and not to noisey at 110 compared to the Federals.
Drove 100's of km's on sand, not sure how good they were as never driven MT on sand.
They seamed to do the right thing with grip and did dig in as expected.
Did a full on soft sand hill climb with ease after dropping to 15psi.
Did some nice stinky muddy bog holes and they worked a treat.
One problem was going through a bog hole and must of hit a tree root or steel and ripped a 80mm gash in the side wall, just unlucky I guess? Lucky they are cheap as I would of cried like a baby if a $400 tyre.
I was surprised how easy they climbed on soft sand hills once set to 15psi.
Not ideal to do sand with MT's but didn't have a choice in tyres this weekend, sucked the fuel.

Went to the high country Queens bday.
Tyres performed really well in the mud and rocks.
This is the first real test for them and am happy to say they have a lot less by 80% splits, chips and deterioration of wear than the Federals for the same trip last year and the patrol is a lot heavier than the challenge was on Federals.
My mate Wex00 also runs the same and was supper happy with them.
We ran around 20 to 24 PSI between us with no problems or loss of grip.

Have you tried them down lower around 15-18 psi?
Most tyres with heaps of side wall strength tend to stand up more..
Was reading my mates micky T MTZ tyres, only 3 layers of poly in the walls..
