    Question Starter motor removal 3.0DDi

Has anyone had experience removing the starter from their 3.0 DDi??
    Advice will be welcome
Seems mine has died suddenly and completely.
    I am planning a new replacement--$199, $245, $325 on ebay, about $800 elsewhere.

A workmate just bought a spare from COVS, said the price was good.

Put one back on recently when we did roofys motor. Was pretty easy just two bolts from memory access from underneath is easiest.
