Hodge has it right. Mine came with these out of the factory - only 3 per wheel and randomly placed on the studs. None were aligned so they were pretty meaningless as supplied. And no fancy spanner gadget to adjust them either. They are not easy to adjust with your fingers.

Sorry. I did get the wrong photo. Thosw are indeed valve caps. What I was meant to show is what Brissie uploaded...
Both my patrols also have the sticker inside the door to show the recall has been performed. I don't know what they did , except fit those things ... I have a shitload somewhere in the garage.

    Nissan work was;
    Check/adjust lig nut tension.
    Fit 3 indicators per wheel
    Put sticker on car

IIRC it was only for vehicles with mags.
If you went in with steelies many dealers (incl the ones local to me) wouldn't bother.
Mine had steelies so I didn't even bother taking it in.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

After I bought the CRD, it was serviced at the dealership. It had the indicators on the wheel nuts, yet the bloke at the counter told me my car didn't qualify for the recall.

Yeh these were on my factory alloys as well, absolute PITA to get off though. I had no idea what they were for so first time after I swapped wheels I ditched them and never put them back - same has the hub cover lol

    That's them.
Spray a little silicone spray inside them to make em easier to turn.
    And they only go clockwise.

    But yea that's them.
I got a little puller tool with mine.

Ok dumb question time. As I never bothered re-fitting mine on both my Patrols... How in the fark do these things work?
They meant to "indicate" if a wheelnut has come loose how ?

I understand the truck ones, obviously the pointy things not pointing at one another indicates one nut could be loose...

They slide over the nut once tightened and then once on turn the indicators to the center.
