20 more minutes to stew the apples and I'm ready to enter into a granny bake off comp :-) !
I'm not sure Matfew what year this one is 'EverHot' brand but its relatively newish, all plumbed up to supplement the hot water system when power regularly goes down up here.
It is comforting to know we can if needed go full off the grid :-) !![]()

All I had to do was make a vent cover out of some checker plate.
Used to do a roast every sunday to give the missus a break in winter,
who knows might do it again this winter lol.
I also have a spit made from a keg thats handy as well to
edit:: Great for Bread lol
Newer ones cost a motza, my one is near on brand new
this is my second one, I've cut some alloy checker plate for the sides
as its not bricked in. still works great IMO

I'm thinking we should start another 'thread' thing for this old school cooking. Let the crew here share their happy daily thoughts without our caper :-)

Rewired all my spot lights and added the new headlight wiring loom without anything catching fire, have to be happy with that.
Seemed like a good idea at the time
Sitting out under the pergola with the sound of running water
Topping up the pool. Sadly won't be doing this for long.
