Yep, went very well engine is droped off. He is a great bloke was there for nearly an hour chatting and pretty much wandered throughout the workshop. Got there the door was closed, knocked on the door then he opened the roller door and there was massive GQ clean as high mount on 37s then thought this is looking good! ! (Was his one) Anyway new one should be ready Friday or Monday same deal. He's pretty laid back haven't paid for out yet as transfer wasn't available.
I'll put up some figures of where we're at soon. I'll leave it open for a couple more days, no pressure but if anyone does want to contribute send me a pm.
Total funds that have been raised from contributions and raffle is $4,302.
Engine cost is $4200 (which he has given a really generous discount from $4650 thanks to jonos good work), plus extra parts takes it to approx $5940. which leaves a difference of $1368 at this stage. As i said no pressure, I think it has been a pretty amazing result so far but the opportunity is still there (to chuck in) if anyone would like.

04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Got a text from the engine builder, everything seems to be on track and should be ready to be picked up Monday provided the injectors come in. Said cracked head and blown piston was the cause of is troubles, sent through a couple of pictures but kind of hard to see.

Did that paying my credit card once, the bank whacked me for interest then got me next month as it took a few days for the statement to arrive, mongrels.
