A house we were half interested in just sold at auction for $959,000 ..... this is f%÷king crazy.

I dont know what to do.?

There is just about no houses that are not going for auction.

Why do you want to get a house by auction? And $959k! What tha! No house in Watsonia, or Bundoora is worth that. Unless its on a stupidly huge block.
A lot of Asains buying up in that are too, same as Mill Park. Because of the Uni and tafe colleges so close. And if the house number is 6, they will pay top dollar for it. There are some other numbers too they will pay more for but cant remember though. Some superstition thye have.

It is a little over the top. When realistically the place is probably not even worth half that.

Seems to be that way... Can own an awesome property Whittlesea and northwards but the other half has a very firm handbrake on it ...
