    If its not too late coul they spray the front leading edge of the bonnet with a rubberized product
    to protect it from stone chips, same colour of course, or some Mylar tape.
    Pic is my bonnet with 50mm mylar tape, near on invisable

    Nah the reason I'm fitting a new bonnet is because it's got a buldge welded in. All for looks haha! And I don't reckon a strip will look nice. The new paint will look good and last well with a bit of attention.
