Like I said never heard of anyone doing it since Ive been here.
I have a needle valve and TBH mine spools very quickly if I
need it to
@ Clunk might be a bit of black texta making it look "wonky"
Im not 100% happy with it, but its ok. Now only one more for
the other side for the reverse camera. Then Ill get the laser
cutter onto the centre console knock outs.

Started replacing the body mounts. The rears and the 4th row ones are proving to be a pain in the anoos.

Lol. Done. Except for the rears.
I was jacking the body that much i had to have the rear doors open. So i just spaced the rear mounts and replaced all the others.

Have you undone the radiator mounts so the body doesn't flex the cores as you are jacking the body?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
No i didnt. The radiator is only secured from the top and these mounts are designed to flex so i think these might be fine. Anyway we'll see tomorrow if the radiator is fine or not.
I used a length of 100x100 of pine running between the 3rd and 4th row mounts and jacked up the entire side of the car from there. This worked really well, except for the rear mount. I just couldn't get the body up high enough. I just have to put the front seats back in and im done.

Finally got around to fitting my external speaker for my UHF so I can hear it over the rattling of my GQ on corrugations.
One of those little jobs I've been too slack to get around to, oh well, done now 😀
93 GQ wagon, RB30, extractors, 2 inch tough dog lift, 5 spd, A/T KO2 32's, steel winch bar, rated recovery points, red arc dual battery set up, rhino roof racks, UHF etc etc. Slow and steady might not win the race but it gets me there eventually...
