I have a few mates that want to come for a day trip on saturday. An 80 series and possibly a SAS'd surf they are good blokes who know how to wheel.

Its funny at work today they startd with the toyota banter etc. I just said bring it on, your Nissan bashing isnt going to be much chop when you are swimming in a sea of patrols lol

OK, two adults (age not attitude) and one 6yr old for LCMP or possibly alternate venue :-)

Now, old mate over the road is interested, but he and spouse need access to loo - how does that work at LCMP?

And, yes, I will have a recovery plate (at least) fitted by then :-)

There are facilities at LCMP aka Fairy Land (hot showers & toilets)

LCMP has good toilet and shower blocks at the main camp sites.

thanks - I should have been a bit more specific. Couple in their 70s, he's quite mobile, she's quite a bit less so, and for some reason allergic to porta pottis. Maybe she'll have to make an exception, but she is quite proud.

Is the LCMP campground we are talking about accessible by 2wd caravan?

X2 - when we were up last time they had regraded the main road through it, so a two wheel drive would make it in and out.

Ahhh - yeah, caravan could get in there. A bit bumpy of course (mostly around the office area), but "should" be ok. The camp ground is about 10klms off the main road, so it would be a slow haul for that, but you could get in there.
