Look at what my bro in law found on hard rubbish.
Someone was throwing it out as it wasn't working.
All it needed was some wiring fixed and a new 6v battery.
Mia is going to flip her ship when she sees this as he's giving it to her!
Score!

Almost finalised plans to get away with family for a few days camping next week. Going to head up Mansfield / howqua area, base camping at Running Creek site (based on Hodges recommendation and photos, thanks mate!!) and do a few day trips around, should be great fun!

Haha thanks mate, I thought I had fixed that before I posted it.
When you posted months ago after camping there I saved your map, knowing that I'd want to check it out one day!
I had a look on rooftop map as well and looks pretty straight forward, thanks.
Is it a 4wd only accessible camp area? Was only a bit concerned given how close it is from the main road that that it may attract rift raft in cars...

Howqua River Rd is a dirt track but it is doable in normal cars, so you will see Xtrails , Prados etc at the Main campsite, which is a very large camping ground.
But... from there on you have a few river (i'd call it a small creek ) crossings which filters out a lot of people, leaving the rest of the isolated camp locations to more 4x4 based people... You will see when and if you get there what I mean.
This time of year I dare say it'll be busy.
