Ash cool. That makes me happy. I was confused when everything was telling me I needed to tap a line in for boost gauge. I was looking at it like "what's wrong with that one???" Lol. All makes sense now

So a quick update. Started adding a few little things on the big guy. 1446638913901.jpg
    Started out here,

    Made it to here,
    1446638977754.jpg
Had to cut a little off the end as it had some extra length. Lol
    1446639030686.jpg
Managed to get it all in and looking nice.

Just left us wiring it all up. Only small hickup I found was the bung in the exhaust is different size to the sensor but. I'll drop by somewhere and see if I can get something for that tomorrow arvo.

Ok... New update.. got the price to make the probe fit 1446708771014.jpg

Other thing... As I didn't drive it to work today he sat in the driveway all day. So he Sat for about 24 hrs, came home to a bloody big puddle of coolant on the ground??????? Literally see it dripping... Looking under I can't see too much from the source, but does run a lot.. Main spots noticeable just under and behind the air con unit.... But the driveway does have quite a bit of a lean backwards.

Also while looking for the leak found a random hose to nowhere....?? Not the reason for coolant, but is it Normal???

Off to search the forum for any answers!!!!

Btw, it's amazing how fast happiness can turn to fear 😨

That hose will be the air con drain hose ?? I'm guessing.

Source of the leak could be anywhere mate. Did you maybe knock a hose clamp or something while tinkering under the hood last few days ??

I hope it isn't the dreaded front timing cover coolant leak super common to the 3L variety. It's a rather expensive fix.

I haven't played with any of the hoses. But could have bumped something... Can't see or feel any leaks from any hoses or connections.... I actually just came across your thread on this particular problem.

Yeah I was gonna suggest you read through that and see if any similarities.

I gave up on that long time ago and just left it as is checking coolant periodically . Mine leaked minimal amount and wasn't getting any worse.

Follow that hose and i reckon it goes to the oil drain tray which is under the oil filter.

That's probably it... It was quite oily at the tip. It's only 2 inches long and goes to a black box under the oil filter... Lol makes sense. Just wanted to confirm it's suppose to be like that

Ok... So I guess I have a strange leak as well. No coolant leak at all since that day... I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it??

Also have the gauges all finished and wired. Took my time and did it with minimum stress.
Ran all wired, probes, pressure hose under wheel to the receiver. Pulled the small panel under steering wheel off (1 screw and 4 bolts) and off she pops. Velcro and some hot glue to stick the receiver on, when off was easily able to access dimming switch(plug) and wired gauges onto it. Nice and easy quick piggyback fuse circuit for power and all sweet. Wire conduit for keeping it all need and pack up. Except for the one panel I didn't have to pull dash apart. All happy on that note.

Now to decide on the next little project
