In first place with 18 votes is TPC with his photo of the vehicles out in the Northern Simpson Desert. I thought as soon as he posted it that it would be the winner as it encapsulates a concept difficult to catch with a camera - ‘Remote’.
In second place with 15 votes is Megatexture’s photo of a remote village he cycled past in Madagascar. I don’t know about others but I’d be most interested to hear the story about how he came to be cycling in that part of the world.
In third place with 14 votes is FNQGU with his shot of termite mounds at sunset, on the road to Lakefield NP (Rinyirru) north west of Cairns.
