I don't want to cut and weld as that creates a weak point. And I also have two new tongues hetre and a recovery hitch... Which is the reason I'm removing this thing anyway. The $ itnowes me so far I could have got a complete assembly from wreckers. She's coming out....

Cut off and re weld will now probably be stronger then yours with all the heating and cooling etc you've given it. You may have made it brittle..

How good is the seal?? Can you weld a socket to the out side to take a Porta power and pump the sucker out with hydraulic pressure??

Seeing its moved out 6mm I'd belt it back in 6mm and try and break up as much rust as possible.
It'll come just need to have your tongue hanging out the right way, lol

Got given 2 spanking new battery's today

Same thing annoyed me .......... The battery's are 390mm long they aren't gonna fit in the battery trays.
Now I have 2 for sale lol and my mate is gonna get the smaller ones.
