Hey everyone!

I just bought a 2004 GUIII ST-L 3lt turbo diesel 5sp manual. This is my third patrol - I had a 4-0 lt petrol 4 sp MQ (awesome old girl, go anywhwere except through water); then I had an '89 Maverick 4.2 petrol 5 sp (also awesome). I did have a Landcruiser in between but I don't like to talk about it as I am still deeply psychologically scarred from the ordeal.

I had heard about some of the ZD30 problems and read many threads on this forum before making my purchase, so thank you to everyone who has posted problems and solutions on here. This is the first diesel I have ever owned, and it was a big thing for me to trade my lovely red 2010 sv6 commodore for a much older patrol, but as I read somewhere recently - the commodore can't climb rocks.

yes a wee bit different to your Commonwhore, but your Patrol goes places the other cannot
