    2002 gu 4.8 o2 sensor wiring

Hey guys i've not long ago bought a 4.8 gu auto for cheap. Had no exhaust system on when i bought it and now im just finishing it off. Problem is i need to know which 02 sensor plugs into where on the loom as both have the same plug. There is one plug with blue wire/red trace, black, and green. The other is green wire/yellow trace, green, and black. If someone could have a look at theirs and tell me which goes to front and which goes to back that'd be awesome. Thanks

    2002 gu 4.8 o2 sensor wiring

    Hi mate,

From a post thread I replied to some time ago. Mine is a 2003 4.8 auto.

bank 2 (closet to firewall) connects to the connector with the green/yellow wire.
bank 1 (closet to radiator) connects to the connector with the blue/ red wire.

    hope this helps.

How did you go? I will also be replacing mine. I had a quick look and noticed a what looks like a heat shield..does this need to be removed? Is it an easy job getting the old ones out?
