    righto then,

    1st step remove rear window....

Actually its pretty easy to remove, I prised the bottom out with 2 chippy chisels, and went from there. once you start you will get the idea how it removes.....

    Materials.....
    Piano Hinge......... Bunnings

    Dont have a finished photo...
But I used a product called Dibond sheeting.... plastic with aluminium finish, all different colours. 3mm thick

#Then I cut it out in the shape of the window frame...

#Pop riveted the hinge to the upper (under) window frame. cut to size

#I made about a 3mm gap all around....

#once the sheet was in the correct position. I marked hole for the hinge on the sheet....

#I used small stainless nut and bolts for a better look as you will see the nut head from the outside...

#bolt on sheet to hinge and see if all working well.

#main thing you need to look at is that the hinge and sheeting will sit flush with the car.

#from the i used Pinchweld with Side Blister, from clarks rubber.
    http://www.clarkrubber.com.au/rubber...els-seals.html

this is the main seal. different sizes so choose the one best for you....
This worked the best as it will pinch over the pinchweld seems around the window and give you a water a dust seal...

    Gas Strut.

    #I used aluminium right angle.
#Screwed it to the inside of the car above window.
#it had about a 30mm drop below the window opening
#adjust strut to suit the window for opening and closing.
#bolt bottom right angel to sheet. Again I used bolt as they will be seen

    The the lock.
i used 2 on each window. This gave me a great finish and worked well as they locked behind using the pinchweld seam.

Hope this helps....Its hard to explain.
