    Bloody limp mode again.

Ok so went for a burl through the bush this morning and on the way back home about half an hour into an hour drive on the bitumen it starts going into limp mode.
Bugger was not the only thing I was saying.
FYI full nads done, HPD air box and MAF housing, exhaust, snorkel, K&N filter.
I think I have done just about everything I can to try and get around this limp mode.
Needing some on this big time.

Sorry mate no help here but these HPD maf housing things seem to cause more trouble then they're worth...

It was going great guns, drives good heaps of go in it. Until today. It has been good for a couple of months. Might have to save up some coin and take it to a decent diesel mechanic that knows patrols (if I can find one) and leave it with them to fix.

There was a post here recently about these HPD housings dropping the MAF voltage by .25V therefore going to limp mode and the fix was to get a chip. I'll try and find it

I would check your MAF, its pretty hard to go into limp mode with the HPD MAF housing.

Dodgy MAF i think.. If you have had the HPD housing for a couple of months with no issues i doubt that cause it all of a sudden.

I have a couple of MAFs from Mudski (still waiting for address to send back mate) here. I wil, try again tomorrow. I don't think it is the housing at this point but I am obviously no expert. Lol. I haven't pulled out the MAF since I got back so I will check tomorrow and clean and see if anything comes off it.

I had a look at that article and indicates that if it lowers the voltage it should drop the power with less fuel but not limp
