Just watched "fishing edge " with Lee Rayners, WoW dude was fishing somewhere Nth Wst of Vic on the Murray
They pulled in some huge Cod. Worth watching and they made it look so easy most cod over 1000mm and 40lb.
Lure used was about 200mm -250mm in a red /black pattern, big lure for sure. Episode 8

Went to Yarrawonga with some friends to take away some pain from burying their father recently.
Went to catch some carp for our parents and caught plenty of fish.
All Murray cod were released as its closed season.
Mark's very first cod
Then I got this massive 93cm COD on a tiny size 2 circle hook with a tiny cube of chicken chippee.
Caught a massive 7kg Carp.

I have finally popped my cherry and scored my metre cod.
Measuring 103 cm.
Caught on the banks of Lake Mulwala bait fishing.
Using chicken chippee, scrub worm and cheese on the same hook.
Rod was in the water all of three minutes.
