Boost Gauge

Hey guys, I need help installing a boost gauge and am struggling to find wiring info I'm after, I'm a complete novice with zero experience in wiring but really needing to save money so I want to install it myself. My problem is I have no idea where I attach the wire to the ignition etc, my instructions that came with gauge are very basic and while they make sense on the gauge side of it, it doesn't make sense to me on the actually putting in the vehicle side. If anyone could help me out with pictures or possibly even if you're in Mandurah area maybe give me a hand. I am using the adaptor that goes under my MAP sensor, just waiting on it to arrive, hopefully by next weekend as my NADS is getting done on the Monday.

So your stuck just with the wiring? Maybe take a pic of the destructions you have... ignition, acc and earth are fairly easy to find if you have a test light.

If it is a mechanical gauge you only need a power source from the lights... the dimmer is an easy one if you have a GU

So solder my ignition switch wire (red in this case) to the wire going up in behind my dimmer?

I get what wires are for what on the gauge side of it, I just don't know where to attach them with the ignition switch (red in this case). May seem fairly stupid not know but I just haven't ever touched electrics.

You need a test light and turn the ignition on and trace a live ign wire from behind the fuse panel. Make sure its not live when ign is off too.
