Thanks for all the advise guys.... excited to leave in the morning.

I will let you all know what the place we are staying at is like, maybe for a future trip where we travel light.

I thought that twat Drew would have offered up some advice on some tracks as he is an encyclopedia of tracks in the high country.

Hey Mic how long roughly does it take from Licola to Woods Point or there abouts?

It really does depend on which way you are going from Licola to Woods Point, but allow 4 hours on the roads ( that is taking it really easy ) .....

I hope you are going to come in from Heyfield ( Lake Glenmaggie ) up the bitumen - you will love it even though it is bitumen ( Around 4 Hours from your place to Licola this way). This is one of my favourite drives in Victoria with great views up the Macalister River Valley, and then go out the other way to make it a round trip.

Mic I am coming up from Moe past the dam... there is a drive we did on a forum run I want to do again..

Went outside to start the wifes car and my front left tyre has gone flat.... I got these KM1's cheap for $500 on rims pretty much new but they are shit for getting muck in the bead and not sealing properly.... frustrating.

I think I will sell them soon and look to getting something else..

Excellent - you will be going up through Heyfield way. Enjoy the views

Never had KM1's so can't really comment on those, but the KM'2's have been excellent so far....

I had the same problem with my last tyres pretty much every time I took it out. Got my new ones and no problems yet

Yes I have had the KM2's but for the $500 I got these for with rims and then sold my KM2's that had about 30% left without rims for $500... simple math.

Got my shopping and a bottle of wine..... yum yum. also stopped past and grabbed Mudski's air jack.
