I bought an Oregon branded chainsaw on fleabay brand new for $90 a while back. Still starts easy, cuts great and doesn't leak. Although the chain seems to loosen everytime I use it though... You win some, you lose some I guess...
Take a pic of it Eric. I bet you its the same as mine. I found the exact saw as mine in other shops, but in different colours. For a much inflated price.

Mate you'll be hard pressed to find a saw that doesn't leak bar oil. My shindaiwa does and my mates huski does too so its not just cheap brands

Lol. Just don't clean it and let the woodchips that are stuck to the chainsaw soak the oil up.

Just sat down for a cuppa coffee and though I'd better open the days mail up. Wish I didn't. Letter 1, speeding fine @ 185.00, letter two, invoice from the accountant for buisness A @ $1400.00, letter three invoice from the accountant for business B, $2068.00, workcover insurance renumeration restimate, pay us another $198.36 please! Finally letter 4, 2014 personal income tax return of just shy over $5K payable to the ATO. Gawd! Talk about sucking someone dry!

Ah well! Atleast I'm prepared for it now. My old accountant left us with around 3K in ATO fine and late payment fee's and one step away from being put on the ATO's naughty list. Now I'm on top of things with the new accountant, it makes thing like this not feel so bad.

The PO Box has been empty the last 2 days, no bill, no cheques, no I don't want to swap. Bugger about the speeding fine.
    Cheers

It looks like this mate. It's a Gardenline brand from Aldi with an oregon bar. From memory it was $130 off Aldi. Starts up everytime no dramas, cuts fine, but Yeah I also found chain comes loose very quickly after a few cuts.

We have the farmboss sithl range at work and have never seen them leak bar oil, they sit in the back of the utes, and would have noticed if it leaked. MInd you the farmboss is the dearer range.
But this ALdi one spewed all oil it had in it out. Still sarted and cut fine. Just annoying.

Yep. Looks the same as mine, but mine is in orange. Just don't clean it Eric. Let the wood soak up the oil bud! And put it in your spare wheel bag when carrying it. I do this also with the fuel container. No petrol smells through the camper or car.
Whats a new chain worth for these things? I was given a sharpening kit but who can be bothered! New chain or if the price of the chain is close to the price of the saw. A new saw. Lol.

I've got the same saw. Replaced the chain with a Stihl brand one and all good. It used to leak bar oil but now it's been used a fair bit it has stopped leaking. Pretty good for the money.
