    Need a much softer ride

Hi all as you know my back is knackered basically, and I would like a softer ride.
ATM I have 2" EFS suspenion and shocks. Its ok but it could be better, I cant
go a different spring rate because of my accessories fitted. I can however change the shocks.
Im thinking if I change to say Koni will that improve the "ride".
I know Koni are adjustable and rebuildable, any thoughts
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

dont srpings take out the bumps and shocks just stop the springs from bouncing? i would have thought if you were to improve your ride, you would have to reduce the spring rating? maybe you need to take out some of your accessories if thats the difference between being able and not being able to drive your car?
I got red dust in my veins.

If shocks are valved to tight then they will add resistance to the absorbing rate.
So you really have 2 choices. Grab some adjustable shocks, or try a little lesser spring rate.
I guess if your chasing the ride height you have and weight capacity then change the shocks.

I'm hoping the insurance Co will come to the party by either suppling a
Strato suspension seat from their 3000 range or some Konis for all 4 corners.
I think they would go the seat as they would have no idea on suspension set ups
and Im not selling the Patrol just because I cant get the ride right.
Council has recently added 8 new speed humps in my area, so just getting to the shop and back I have to go over
    20 for a return trip

Maybe even air bags all round

Yeah if it's mainly used for going to the shops over 20 speed humps maybe there's not a need for a lot of gear in the back?
