    How much patrol have you replaced?

    So, my mate blew up his gearbox the other day, so we threw in another one.

    We got to talking and realised that the only parts of the patrol that were on it when he bought it, were the body and chassis. He has replaced every other thing on the car with something else!

    So. How much of your car is what you bought it with?

    Cheers

    92 GQ mostly original so far, only done an alternator, starter motor, and had the air con rebuilt after it seized years ago.

    Bought it with personally or came out of the factory with originally?

    If it's the latter my answer would be original equipment is;
    Steering Wheel, Instrument Cluster, Driver Door, Passengers Door, Rear Diff and ... uuummmmm... oh yeah, and Battery Tray.

    Yep, that is about it
    Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

    So I know that mine is mostly original apart the from the normal things.
    I've changed brakes and hoses.
    Radiator hoses
    Filters,
    Oil...

    Yep.. 500,000 old and still
    Original engine, pump, clutch, gear box and full drive line.
    Hell even have the factory 15" sunnies.

    Gearbox, transfer case, clutch, rear diff, head gasket, radiator reconditioned, timing belt alternator, spare rim shockers and springs have all been replaced. I replaced the rear diff as I was told by a mechanic that it was shot, but the noise is still there, even after the gearbox and transfer were changed out.
