A Nomadic Life (Blog)
Hmmm, gotta say it's a good idea for certain spots.
I've seen straps used in a similar fashion for the same result
Not so good for, say, open beach, swampy ground or dunes by yourself, that is where Maxtrax etc are the go
I can see issues if you haven't got a convenient anchor point directly behind the wheel.
Also once you are out and have it wrapped around the wheel I can also see a hassle on occasion getting it off if you are in a cramped area.
I'd be making a tool to fish that attachement strap out from behind the wheel as well.
That would be a pain in the arse in Mud or Water esp with splits or other rims that only have a small opening.
But, overall, yeah, not bad at all

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
looks quicker to dig yourself out lol
I'll dig or winch, that looks like a pain in the ass
With a winch facing the wrong way, it could be a backup (no pun intended) device. I wonder how the materials perform over rocks and sticks with the weight of the vehicle on them.

My advice is: not to follow my advice.
