I have now two K&N filters that I alternate before every service and after every bush,dusty trip as I would like the vest airflow possible.Originally Posted by aj_vmax
The Nissan paper filter is a great filter for normal road driving.
The best advantage is not having to buy another filter as I just wash clean and re oil the spare filter.
You do get a little more power with the better air flow, and for a 3lt you need all the power you can get. Lol

got one in my TD42 but unlike the rich bastards above, I keep a paper one as a spare for when the K&N is being cleaned up etc etc etc
Stop being such a tighty. Lol. One k&n is not even double the price of a paper element.
How do the sensors go with the oil fumes ?

Remember a post a while back when fumes from something affected a sensor,
might of been using sikaflex not 100%

The recharge kit is about as much as a paper element though, but it does do at least two recharges.
