what about something like this AB? wouldn't be too hard to knock something like this up with stuff you have laying around your backyard?

Been putting it off for a while now but a mate got done for no mudflaps so thought I better do something about it.
Had a scrounge around the shed and all I could find was 2 bits of different sized RHS that happened to fit together nicely and came up with the following removable set up.
When I done the quater chop I welded 3mm plate to fill in the bottom of it which is quite strong so
I used that as a mounting point.
