    Question Diagnostic plug

Where is the diagnostic plug located on the 2006 GU, 3.0 Di ??
And is it OBD II compatible?
Looking at a scan device but can't find if it runs on my GU. Seems most scanners only "work" on CR (2007 and later)
    Thanks

The plug is ODB II compatible but your ZD30 Patrol isn't, only the ZD30 CRD is.
Until the CRD Nissan left out a teensie bit in the OBD protocol so it works for Consult but not full 100% OBD.

I am led to believe ECU talk or similar diagnostics work on the Di's
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

I looked up ECUTalk and it is all there--ZD30 Di compatible> http://www.ecutalk.com/. Check out "Consult Cables" and "Diesel Compatibility" from their dropdown list.
Great help from "the evil twin"
