    About $240 for 5 years... my race licence cost me $300 a year so I found this very reasonable.

    $250.90 for 5 years, I just paid it, also you need a reason for application which the easiest one is the pest hunting permit from DSE that is $14, BA put info on it in his first post.

    So far that is all I have spent, thanks to having some mates that let me borrow their guns, I will get my own in due course though.

    Even un licensed you can go to the little river gun range with any licensed person and shoot targets. I was there today, good fun but it gets expensive when you shoot 60 308 rounds!

    There is no way I could shoot 60 rounds of high caliber.... thats how you kill a barrel .

    When at the range I will fire a max of about 3 - 15 rounds of my main hunting rifles to make sure they are on target.
