    New tyres and suspension

    gday all
    looking at getting some new tyres and suspension currently running 265/75/16 on a 16x8 rim (about30") and would like to go to 33" tyres
    im thinking that 285/75/16 would be a good choice with a 2" lift, its a 98 2.8ltd gu (im new to this) so im wondering if bigger tyres affect smaller engines and how much ? would this tyre be suitable for me ?

    any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    cheers brent

    Hey. Brent. The larger tyre will suck a little power off the 2.8 but it's probably the most popular touring tyre size. 285/75/16. The car will handle it fine.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
