    Introducing Pissan Nissan ( the first)

    1973 Nissan Patrol long wheel base

    Due to high demand, this is the start of Steve's G60 Restoration.

    The car was bought at auction just because it had a original 1960s Holden heater in it. Purchase price $50.
    Mr Nissan had extended the body about 500mm.( see first pic of line behind the front door) We are not sure why, one story goes that it was made for the "snowy Hyrdo scheme", or for the local power station (sec). May have had seats running along the inside rear. Was used as a farmers tractor before coming here.
    Onto some resto pics of what has been done so far;
    First day

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    All panels and car went back to metal.

    head was removed just to replace a welsh plug, so while it was off, it was machined and then ported and polished.

    Engine bay all freshened up.
