    2009 ST-L Build Thread

Almost a month ago I decided to treat myself to an early 30th birthday present.

Here's what I picked up. It's a 2009 ST-L 4.8 with low K's and full Nissan book. Looks like it's never been off a sealed road in it's life and is basically spotless inside and out. Perfect platform to build myself a tourer/tow rig for the new camper. Here's how it sat the first night I had it.

About 3 weeks later and now this is how it currently sits.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Cheers mate. That's the good thing about money, you can always earn more! On a serious note, it was a decent hit to the old wallet. Good thing I have an understanding wife.... Although what I paid for most of the parts isn't exactly what I told her. I'd be the same thing with her "It was only $100" routine she tells me everytime a new pair of shoes or handbag turns up.

Here is the indash entertainment unit I fitted. The screen is motorized and can be adjusted and set for easier viewing.

Looks alright, just can't get the name of the make/model of the unit.
Good idea about changing the angle of the screen.

It's just a generic ebay unit. The plug on the back was Phillips though.
