    Rain leak

Can anyone give me some pointers please, we have had a bit of rain down here in Tassi recently, As I havent had this GU long, bought during summer months! anyway after the rain I opened the car to find the deep rubber mat full of water, so I booked the patrol in for a brand new windscreen on Monday, I also had the rubber around the screen replaced! This morning after raining over night I thought I would go out and check, and sure enough there is a very small amount of water on the mat, so grabbed a torch, it appears to be dripping from the heater fan, this is rain water not coolant, has anyone else had this problem? can anyone recommend a good place to start to try and find this leak? I have a snorkel on the bus, and where it goes on the pillar has a single pop rivet and it is loose, is it possible water water could be running down the pillar into the cab any advice appreciated

Have a look at the tabs/seals where the wiper cowl attaches to to body, remove heater fan inside the car, and you can look straight up with a torch to see, bet this is the problem.

cheers for that, the cowl is also called a scuttle? I did have that off a couple weeks back and fitted new wiper control arms, I notice the scuttle sits in what looks like plastic type grommets, so what your saying these grommets could be leaking?, if so where would I purchase new ones to replace the lot? I hate water leaks

With the carpet wet you’ll need to take it all out to get it dry. It starts to smell after a while!
